This thread is a big hello to the members here all the way from the Dominion of New Zealand.
My specialist area of numismatic interest is the banknotes, coins, postal notes, postal orders,& traders' currency tokens from across the British Commonwealth, including Ireland,Somaliland,& Zimbabwe, but not including Cameroon,Mozambique,Palestine,or South Arabia.
If you read the February 2006 edition of Token Publishing's 'Coin News',you would have seen on pages 38 to 40 the article entitled 'Chatham Islands numismatics'.If you did, then I can tell you that I am the guy who wrote the article & compiled the catalogue.I have had some positive feedback from some people in the numismatic community over here, including some praise from some members of the Royal Numismatic Society of New Zealand.

Great idea BC Numismatics! We'll look into adding a category/section to the forum that will include coins of the British Commonwealth very shortly, not including of course Cameroon,Mozambique,Palestine,or South Arabia. Perhaps you could send your forum members over to this forum? -
