Note on 1902:

Two distinct issues, characterised by the quality of the strike:

Type A: (Probably issued first) Slightly convex obverse, resulting in a weakly struck patch on Britannia's breastplate area, often with no detail at all showing in this area. This is true even in BU. As these always occur only in higher grades and have only been spotted in the last few years, it is reasonable to assume they are a recent "find".

Type B: Regular, commoner, well-struck issue.
